Maximum taste with minimal effort

There are many ways to inject extra flavour into your food and using a marinade or rub is an easy way to achieve maximum taste with minimal effort.

They do most of the work and introduce flavour before you even start to cook.

Almost any food can be marinated.

Meat, poultry, fish and vegetables can all be enhanced with a good combination of herbs and spices.

A liquid marinade imbues smaller cuts of meat with extra flavor and can protect meat from drying out.

Alternatively, a spiced rub massaged onto the surface before cooking is great for larger cuts of meat.

As a general rule, marinate seafood for no more than 45 minutes; small pieces of meat and poultry for no more than two hours; and whole chickens and other large cuts of meat can be left overnight.

Remember, if your marinade contains sugar you’ll need to check it regularly, don’t let the sugar burn.

At Seaside Gourmet Meats you’ll find the legendary Stubb’s range of marinades and rubs, and the Barker’s of Geraldine range of chutneys and sauces.

Versatile and packed full of tasty ingredients – these will bring out the best in any cut of meat and make your next meal extraordinary.
